Wood Sculpture
All my work is hand carved with a chisel finish. I only use materials from sustainable sources and mostly wood that is from native species. Presented here are examples of past work. I can create sculpture for any indoor or outdoor space. Carved pieces can be scaled to other sizes to fit the requirements of a given space.
I am available for commissions after any current works that have already been given priority.

Infinity Mobius and its counterparts in the series can also be recreated for different scale sculpture. If you are interested in funding the creation of landscape sculpture please contact me to discuss further.

Captain Moroni
I was asked to create a sculpture depicting Captain Moroni - a Mormon saint. This required a great deal of research and discussion to get the depiction the client wanted. As the client wanted a wood with a visible grain and and it needed to be a stable hard wood to withstand the change of environment in California, I chose yew wood for the carving. It was carved from one log that had to be well-seasoned. Height is approximately 25cm

Dick Onians (Renowned Sculptor and Teacher)
The photography on Sarah's portfolio is stunning! Each piece tells a story and evokes emotion. Her talk at the the Chelsea Arts Club on her trip to Colombia was full of information that only a traveller who has gained a great depth to her insights would be able to describe.
